Once a popular actress, Robin Wright (played by Robin Wright) has long faded from the spotlight. At 45, her stubbornness and capriciousness have squandered many opportunities, causing company owner Jeff (played by Danny Huston) to gradually lose patience. Jeff forces her to sign her last acting contract, and from then on, Robin's name and her virtual image captured through 3D scanning can only appear on the company’s display wall and in films of the digital age. Initially, Robin resists strongly, but after being persuaded by her agent Al (played by Harvey Keitel) and considering the situation of her son Aaron (played by Kodi Smit-McPhee), this obstinate woman chooses to compromise. Twenty years later, Robin drives to Oklahoma to attend the Future Studies Conference, where it is a fully animated locked zone. As a represented animated character, Robin will undergo an unforgettable journey... This film is adapted from a short story by Polish science fiction, philosophy, and futurology writer Stanisław Lem.
