In fact, she is still a virgin and has no experience. She has a caring friend, Ben Berg (Ashley Springer). She aspires to be an actress and plays the role of Blanche in the play "A Streetcar Named Desire." However, the boy she acts with, Johnny Drach (Zach Gilford), seems indifferent to acting, which frustrates her greatly. She confronts him, hoping he will take acting seriously, only to be humiliated in return. The teacher brings in a mentor, who sees potential in Johnny but advises Alexa to change careers, which leaves her puzzled. The mentor believes she is too much of a good girl to succeed as an actress. To prove herself, she does drugs at a party and seduces Johnny. Meanwhile, Ben also begins to show interest in Johnny, and the three of them fall into an ambiguous relationship...
