After the divorce, Tao Sheng (Andy Lau) faces strong pursuit from rich heir Steve (Alan Wu), who uses jewelry as an engagement gift for jewelry-loving Tao Tai (Sammi Cheng). However, Steve's mother, Mrs. Allen (Maggie Chan), sets harsh conditions for Tao Tai to marry.
