Chen Kang-tai (played by Chan Yau) accidentally releases the Blackhearted Ghost from a urinal and is granted three wishes, testing whether he is a greedy person. Kang-tai's brother, Xing Chen (played by Mo Shaocong), takes the blame for his brother and is dismissed, living in his brother's house, where he is forced to work as a male servant by his cruel sister-in-law, Mei Caihua (played by Anita Mui). This leads him to encounter the female ghost, Mei Lanhua (played by Anita Mui). Meanwhile, the Blackhearted Ghost's deadline approaches, and he decides to complete Kang-tai's final wish before taking his life. Can Kang-tai survive this ordeal...
