Chan Man-Jun (played by Sammo Hung) and Cheung Ding-Kei (played by Jacky Cheung) are just ordinary officers in the police force, but by chance, they are assigned to help Detective (played by Ko Hung) solve the case of the "Man of a Thousand Faces." Unexpectedly, the detective tragically dies in an accident, but it is clear that he is not willing to rest, as he transforms into a vengeful spirit, haunting Chan Man-Jun and Cheung Ding-Kei, demanding that they solve the case and avenge him. The detective threatens Chan Man-Jun, stating that if he does not help him get revenge, he will ruin his relationship with his girlfriend, Joanna (played by Joey Wong).
