Three young sailors—Gabey (Gene Kelly), Chip (Frank Sinatra), and Oz (Jules Munshin)—are spending a day off in New York City, and they decide to make the most of it, hoping to find love! Gabey falls head over heels for the "Miss Turnstiles" on a subway poster and is determined to find and confess his feelings to her at any cost.
