Ah Huang (played by Xu Guanweng) is a chef with a somewhat frivolous personality and a strong desire to show off, but in reality, he is a true "henpecked husband." Ah Huang lives with his grandfather (played by Xu Yingxiu) in his father-in-law's (played by Lu Haipeng) home. His father-in-law is authoritative and domineering, causing Ah Huang to endure a lot of grievances over time, accumulating much dissatisfaction in his heart. One day, a beautiful woman named Shishi (played by Ye Qianwen) appears before Ah Huang; she is the woman of his dreams. To Ah Huang's surprise, Shishi is deeply in love with him and even invites him to vacation in the Philippines. Such a great opportunity is not to be missed, so the two set off. When Ah Huang's wife (played by Zou Meiyi) and friend Xue Li (played by Ye Liyi) learn about this, they team up with her father to "hunt down" Ah Huang.
