In a turbulent era, the highly skilled Taoist He Anxia (played by Wang Baoqiang) is sent down the mountain by his master (played by Li Xuejian) to find his own way of life. Unfamiliar with the world, he arrives in the vast world and, after stealing a lotus leaf chicken, becomes a disciple of the doctor Cui Daoning (played by Fan Wei). The beautiful boss lady Yu Zhen (played by Lin Zhiling) is caught between her husband and her uncle Dao Rong (played by Wu Jianhao), leading to a tragic incident.
