Katie (played by Lindsay Lohan) is youthful, lively, and innocent. Due to her parents' jobs, she grew up in Africa, receiving a home-school education. In that raw and expansive place, Katie developed a resilient and strong character. At the age of 15, Katie moved to Illinois with her parents and began her first school experience. However, it was unpleasant as her interactions with new classmates were far from what she had imagined. In the world of girls, everything seems calm and harmonious on the surface, yet there are undercurrents of conflict. To adapt to her new environment, Katie secretly learned the "survival rules" and quickly joined a glamorous clique at school thanks to her appealing appearance. Her gentle nature seemed to earn her a close group of friends. However, everything changed the moment she fell in love with a boy named Aaron (played by Jonathan Bennett). It turned out that Aaron was the ex-boyfriend of the most popular girl in school, Regina (played by Rachel McAdams). Even though they had broken up, the domineering and arrogant Regina could not tolerate Katie's involvement. Thus, a silent war among girls began, about friendship, dignity, sincerity, and trust. How will these girls learn and grow through it all?
