The blind pianist Akash (played by Ayushmann Khurrana) participates in an international competition by earning funds through private lessons. In fact, his eyes are perfectly normal; he just wants to experience a different life this way. Due to an accident, Akash meets the beautiful girl Sophie (played by Radhika Apte). With his outstanding playing skills, Akash secures a part-time job at the Western restaurant run by Sophie's father. His performance not only impresses the diners but also wins Sophie's heart. One day, Akash accepts an invitation from the washed-up movie star Pramod (played by Anil Dhawan) to perform for his wife Simi (played by Tabu) for her birthday, only to witness Pramod's body lying in a pool of blood. Panicked, Akash pretends to be calm, successfully deceiving Simi and her lover for the time being, but his secret gradually gets exposed... This film is adapted from the 2010 French highly-rated suspense short film.
