Raya (played by Alice Eve) has gained fame and fortune through her celebrity status, but it also brings her troubles and distress. As her wedding date approaches with her fiancé James (played by David Tennant), the paparazzi swarm in, making life difficult for the couple. To escape the paparazzi, Raya and James decide to hold their wedding on a nameless island, but their little ruse fails to fool the paparazzi. Frustrated, Raya storms off, which alarms her agent Steve (played by Michael Urie). To cover up the situation, he comes up with a ridiculous idea — to stage a fake wedding, with a local girl Katie (played by Kelly Macdonald) stepping in as Raya's stand-in.
