Directed by Koyce, this is a semi-autobiographical debut film that tells the story of a 12-year-old girl and her 15-year-old sister during the autumn of 1963. That year, the sisters had just returned from a seaside vacation with their father and were living with their divorced mother in Paris. After school started, the sister faced her first real romance and experienced kissing with an older man, while their friendship evolved due to conflicting values. Meanwhile, the younger sister dealt with other issues, such as talking to boys for the first time, confronting unfair teachers, and helping her unhappy mother fix things.
