Billionaire Wan Guoli has invited former elite police officer Chen Zhijie (played by Liu Qingyun) to protect his only daughter Jennifer (played by Liang Yongqi). As Jennifer dislikes being monitored, Zhijie must disguise himself as a Filipino servant named Mario to earn a substantial reward. During his time with Jennifer, Zhijie discovers she is a very naive girl with no friends, as everyone around her is after her money, and she spends extravagantly every day. Therefore, her father Wan Guoli decides to deceive her by pretending to be seriously ill and bankrupt, so she can learn to become independent. When Jennifer first moves to a neighborhood with a more typical grassroots class, she finds it very uncomfortable.
