The story takes place in Germany in 1963 during the Cold War. German female auto mechanic Gaby (played by Alicia Vikander) has a father who is an expert in nuclear weapons. Recently, evidence suggests that he is helping the Nazis develop nuclear weapons to achieve their evil ambition of unifying all of humanity. Napoleon (played by Henry Cavill) is a CIA agent whose past mistakes have put his career in jeopardy. He must achieve something to prove he is not useless. Illya (played by Armie Hammer) is an agent of the Soviet KGB whose father has been branded a corrupt official by the government. To overcome the negative impact of his father's reputation, Illya must work harder than others. Both men want to capture the nuclear bomb master before the other.
