Jamie Dornan joins Pamela Anderson and Taron Egerton in the biographical film "A Private War," directed by Matthew Heineman ("Cartel Land," "City of Ghosts"). The screenplay is written by Arash Amel ("The Princess of Monaco") and is based on a profile of Colvin written for Vanity Fair. Charlize Theron serves as a producer. Anderson plays war correspondent Marie Colvin, while Egerton portrays a journalist with a military background who follows Colvin into conflict zones for reporting. Filming begins in November. Colvin reported from war fronts in Kosovo, Chechnya, East Timor, the Middle East, Sierra Leone, and Zimbabwe. She was severely injured and lost an eye during the Sri Lankan civil war and covered the anti-government movements during the "Arab Spring." In 2012, she was killed by a rocket attack in Homs during the outbreak of the Syrian war.
