In the tenth year of Tensho, the most significant event in Japanese Warring States history erupted—the Honno-ji Incident, marking the end of the ambitious dreams of the Sixth Heaven Demon King, Oda Nobunaga (played by Eiske Shinozaki). His subordinates, while inheriting Nobunaga's will, engaged in both open and covert struggles over the successor. Niwa Nagahide (played by Bunsei Kohinata) and the chief retainer Shibata Katsuie (played by Koji Yakusho) advocated for Nobunaga’s third son, Nobukatsu (played by Minosuke Bandō); on the other side is the rising hero Toyotomi Hideyoshi (played by Yo Oizumi), who, assisted by strategist Kuroda Kanbei (played by Susumu Terajima), championed Nobunaga's second son, Nobutaka (played by Masaki Tsukamoto). Both sides sought the support of Nobunaga's sister, Oichi (played by Kyoka Suzuki), while rallying any potential forces they could gather. The Kiyosu Conference, which will determine the course of history, is imminent—who will emerge as the ultimate victor?
