The story takes place in Lyon. Marie (played by Anouk Grinberg) is a prostitute who, unlike other women forced into this awkward profession by life circumstances, genuinely loves her work. Regardless of how ugly or old her clients may be, she serves them with utmost care and tenderness, ensuring they leave satisfied. By chance, Marie meets a homeless man named Francis (played by Olivier Martinez), who is found sleeping at her doorstep. Kind-hearted Marie not only takes Francis in but also warms his cold spirit with delicious food and her own body.
Marie falls in love with Francis and willingly uses her body to fulfill his various requests, which arise from his idleness. However, the good times don't last long as Francis's flaws begin to show. He expresses disdain for Marie's beloved profession and develops an ambiguous relationship with a nail technician. Soon, Francis finds himself in jail after breaking the law, while Marie stands at a crossroads in her life.
