Cartoonist Lu Zai (Farmer @ Lu Yong) is obsessed with his work and neglects his girlfriend. One day, he receives a call for an interview from a publisher and happily goes. While eating, he has a conflict with a fellow diner and escapes. Later, he gets into a fight with a racing driver. After finally arriving at the interview location, he tells the indifferent editor about his story: the experience of his insurance broker sister (Jacqueline Xie), who unexpectedly discovers her brother-in-law (Farmer @ C Jun) cheating during a client meeting, but refrains from revealing it out of consideration for her sister (Zheng Rong). During a family reunion dinner, the late arrival of her boyfriend (Andy Hui) triggers a family battle. However, the story is not well-received. Helpless, Lu Zai encounters danger on the street and calls the police for help, unexpectedly meeting a girl named Fang Meifang (Zhou Xiuna). Later, he attends his old friend Ling Ling's wedding but discovers the groom’s ex-girlfriend Marietta (Zhao Shuo Zhi). He is called by the anime company boss (Fan Shaohuang) to accompany them for drinks, where he meets Fang Meifang again and offers her comfort.
