A stuntman takes risks for love and becomes the hero of his own story. Kolt Severs (Ryan Gosling) is a stuntman, just like every other stunt performer in the industry; he often gets blown up, crushed, thrown through windows, and falls from great heights—all for the sake of entertaining the audience. Now, he has just been injured in an accident and is almost forced to give up stunt performing.
