Fat Ding (Sammo Hung), who works for a jewelry trading company, is often bullied by the boss's wife, Madam Zhou (Leung Siu-Ming), and her brother (Chao Charlie), due to being a fat guy and honest. He has to take on all the heavy and dirty work, and if he makes even a small mistake, he gets berated harshly. One day, he and his colleague A B (Chung Chan-To) from the shipping department are instructed by the boss to deliver diamonds to a Middle Eastern prince. However, on their way to the bank to deposit the money they received, they are robbed. Without asking for details, Madam Zhou and her brother falsely accuse them of being accomplices of the robbers. Fat Ding, increasingly frustrated, decides to kidnap Madam Zhou to vent his long-suppressed anger. At the moment he is preparing to act, Zhou's daughter, Zuer (Joey Wang), returns from the United States and gets into a heated argument with her stepmother, resulting in a case of mistaken identity where Zuer is kidnapped by him, and later tied up at home by A B. Under A B's pressure, Fat Ding reluctantly demands a ransom from the Zhou family, leading to a series of comedic situations.
