Soul of the Sea (1997) Synopsis On September 20, 1983, the Chinese People's Navy's missile destroyer "Assault Team" conducted anti-submarine exercises in the East China Sea. The captain Lu Tao, the deputy captain Ma Chi, and the navigator Zhong Yuanhang, three friends of the same age, are known as the "Three Shipmates."
