Cat (played by Luo Huijuan) and her boyfriend Ben (played by Lin Junxian) are a pair of delinquents. Ben greatly admires the beauty of the Fire Butterfly, so the daring Cat tattoos a fire rose on her chest. During a robbery of a taxi driver, they are caught by the police officer Wu Zuigou (played by Miao Qiaowei), and unfortunately, Cat gets arrested while Ben successfully escapes. While Cat is in prison, Ben reflects on himself, ends his reckless lifestyle, and even opens a car repair shop. After Cat is released, she wants to rekindle her romance with Ben, but Ben has met a new girlfriend, Alda (played by Tong Ailing), and Cat has no choice but to work at Ben's repair shop. Due to financial issues, Cat is in debt, and the loan shark Da Kou Ba (played by Wang Qing) causes trouble at Ben's shop. To take revenge, Cat places a bomb in Da Kou Ba's car, injuring his subordinate severely. Da Kou Ba forces Cat to repay the medical expenses and even attempts to rape her. Cat vows to resist fiercely and has to participate in Da Kou Ba's car theft operation. The theft fails, and Da Kou Ba comes to the repair shop with his men, intending to kill Cat. At that moment, only Cat and Alda are in the shop; to protect Alda, Cat fights back fiercely and gets seriously injured. Fortunately, Wu Zuigou and Ben arrive at the shop to ensure their safety and arrest Da Kou Ba. In the hospital, Cat gives up her obsession with love, wishing Ben and Alda happiness, and realizing that Wu Zuigou has always been loyal to her, she confesses her feelings to him.
