In Shanghai, a bustling metropolis with numerous concessions, where anomalies arise, and the rich are foolish, luxuriousness coexists with evil, thus nicknamed "Adventure Paradise," also known as "Magic City." As the smartest “all-round detective” in the concessions, Fan Ruyi (played by Ruan Jingtian) deals with all sorts of people daily to gather various pieces of investigation information, earning the trust of his boss.
