In the early years of the Republic of China, four bandits robbed the treasure of the Baiyun Mountain Taoist temple—the Wulong Wall. To divide the spoils, they went to Wulong Town to seek the gambling king, Mao Kaiyuan, to host a gambling game, with the winner taking the jade.
