In the romantically hazy Paris, young woman Nathalie (played by Audrey Tautou) once had a perfect love and a happy job, but one morning, a sudden car accident took her husband's life, extinguishing her beautiful life trajectory. She begins to immerse herself in a new job to try to numb her pain and rejects others' affections. However, when an unassuming Swiss colleague, Markus (played by François Damiens), arrives at the company, the two unexpectedly develop feelings for each other, and the taste of life seems to slowly revive. Yet, their relationship is not looked upon favorably by the outside world, and faced with friends' misunderstandings and the interference of suitors, how will they carefully protect this unexpected love delicacy... The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by David Foenkinos, which was nominated for four major French literary awards and won ten prestigious literary honors, selling over 750,000 copies in France.
