A second-rate baseball player, Monty, finds himself on the brink of poverty when his uncle’s three hundred million dollar inheritance unexpectedly comes his way. To inherit it, he must spend thirty million dollars within a month, leading to a variety of extravagant spending methods. The film's story resembles a modern fairy tale, satirizing contemporary views on money.
