Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) are long-time colleagues and friends who have diligently worked and contributed significantly to their company. However, one day, they are suddenly informed that the company has closed down, and just like that, these middle-aged men find themselves unemployed without any warning. In a chance encounter, Billy and Nick get an opportunity to be interns at Google. Faced with the harsh realities and pressures, they have no choice but to "start over."
