Nearing seventy, Ben (played by Robert De Niro) was once a savvy and successful businessman, but like most elderly individuals, he eventually settled into a mundane retirement life. Nostalgic for his busy and fulfilling past, loneliness and an inner desire to reengage led him to decide to return to the workforce as a junior employee under young Jules (played by Anne Hathaway). Jules, though young, is the founder of a prestigious fashion e-commerce site. She sacrifices all her free time and love life for her career, which brings her honor but also becomes a heavy burden. Worse still, the company board has begun to doubt whether Jules can handle her current position. Initially, Jules overlooks the elderly and outdated Ben, but over time, this kind-hearted elder gradually becomes her most genuine friend.
