Robin (played by Adam Sandler) is unable to realize his dream of becoming a pop star, so he becomes a wedding singer. He witnesses many happy moments of newlyweds but finds himself heartbroken when his fiancée Linda (played by Angela Devit) abandons him at his own wedding. Devastated, Robin is comforted by waitress Julia (played by Drew Barrymore), who warmly invites him to help prepare for her own wedding. Julia's fiancé is a stockbroker with a reputation for being a womanizer, surrounded by beautiful women. Robin learns about Julia's fiancé's true character but is reluctant to tell Julia, who is lost in the bliss of her upcoming marriage.
