Private detective Lu Zhuo is self-assured, optimistic, and exceptionally skilled. The only daughter of wealthy businessman Xu Chengtian, Jiaxin has been plagued by misfortune since she was sixteen. One day, Jiaxin is kidnapped and goes missing. Chengtian, in a state of panic, wants to report to the police but is stopped by his stepmother Lily and younger brother Chengjian. He then decides to hire Lu Zhuo to search for Jiaxin. To be cautious, Chengtian assigns his subordinate Zhang Junling to assist Lu Zhuo in the investigation. Although the two initially don’t get along, they reluctantly collaborate for the sake of money, leading to numerous humorous incidents during the investigation.
