This film tells the stories of three Iranian women of different ages: 1) Little girl Hava (played by Fatemeh Cherag Akhar) is about to celebrate her 9th birthday, after which she must wear a veil and cannot interact with boys. With one hour left until her birthday, she decides to spend this last moment with her best friend; 2) Aho (played by Shabnam Toloui) escapes from her abusive husband and participates in a long-distance bicycle race with a group of female companions. Along the way, her relatives and friends come to try to stop her rebellious actions; 3) Elderly woman Khora (played by Azizeh Sedighi) arrives in a city to shop wildly and hires a group of children to carry her purchases, but she seems to have forgotten something... This film won the Best First Feature Award at the 2000 Chicago International Film Festival, the New Currents Award at the 2000 Busan International Film Festival, the 2nd Place Discovery Award at the 2000 Toronto International Film Festival, and the Best First Feature Award at the 2000 Venice Film Festival.
