Imagine you are a kid at school with no friends, no one to play with, and being bullied by a thug? How terrifying this would be. The protagonist in the Warner Bros. animated film "Don't Mess with Ants" faces this situation. The story is based on the children's novel of the same name by fairy tale writer John Nickle, telling the tale of Lucas, who just moved and has no friends at school, being bullied by the neighborhood thug, and takes his anger out on the ants by destroying their nests. Unbeknownst to him, the ants retaliate by using a magical shrinking gun to turn Lucas into the size of an ant and take him back to their nest to live together.
