Xiaomin (played by Miriam Yeung), as a beer girl, has seen many men embarrassing themselves when drunk, so she is very wary of men. However, the gangster boss Jiu Ge (played by Feng Zhongxin) is particularly fond of her. Chef Mi Gao (played by Daniel Wu) faces the closure of his restaurant after a tough struggle and, with his low alcohol tolerance, gets drunk in front of Xiaomin. The two share their feelings and encourage each other. To lighten Mi Gao's burden, Xiaomin rents the poorly managed restaurant from him, and they start running a café together. Mi Gao catches the attention of the food industry queen Zhao Jie (played by Hu Jing), and Xiaomin sees this as a great opportunity for him but, unable to stop it, decides to close the small café. Zhao Jie, who is only interested in profit, cannot tolerate it and wants to return to Xiaomin. The once sober Xiaomin, under her friends' deliberate plan, also gets drunk and, when intoxicated, reveals her true feelings, surprising Mi Gao.
