Gu Lao (played by Eric Tsang) runs a noodle shop with his son Gu Feng (played by Zhou Junwei) and daughter Xiao Gu Gu (played by Lai Yuantong). Gu Lao's grand ambition is to make the noodle shop renowned within two months. His children and their friends are youthful and playful, spending their days laughing and arguing together, which perhaps determines that in the noodle shop, the main storyline isn't about the ambitious father Gu Lao, but rather the innocent stories of the young people. Gu Feng is dating the lovely and kind girl Carlily (played by Rainie Yang), marking his sweet first love. However, Carlily's sister Heman (played by Guo Shanyou) is not fond of him. They unexpectedly collaborate seamlessly in a competition and win a free vacation to Japan. Of course, Heman tactfully allows Gu Feng to go on the trip with her sister. Yet, the previously incompatible Heman and Gu Feng spark intriguing conversations over the phone during the vacation. With a happy and innocent first love girlfriend like Carlily, how will Gu Feng face his first romantic dilemma in life? Meanwhile, Xiao Gu Gu's affection for the orphan He Wei Long (played by Zheng Daosan) is budding too, as the air of this summer is filled with the fragrance of love.
