The heroic woman Liu Jinding and her father Liu Tianhua returned victorious to court, and the emperor bestowed upon her the title of "Royal Sister Jingguo Princess," announcing the fifteenth day of the month as the day for incense offerings. During this time, outsiders were strictly forbidden from looking at the Royal Sister, with violators facing execution. The Minister of Revenue, Li Shang’s son, Feng Jiajin, disguised himself as Zhang Xiaoer on the incense offering day but inadvertently breached the ban and looked at the Royal Sister, only to be pardoned. Liu Tianhua was furious upon hearing this and attempted to capture Xiaoer but failed. Jinding, worried about Xiaoer’s illness, received an imperial edict stating that whoever could cure the Royal Sister would be invited to join her on the "Eastern Bed." Jiajin took the risk of impersonating a doctor to see the Royal Sister. Jinding recognized the doctor as Zhang Xiaoer and was infatuated, recovering from her illness. Jiajin returned to examine her once more, and during the third meeting, the Royal Sister revealed her true feelings, leading to a joyous engagement. Liu Tianhua, upon learning of this, was enraged and ordered the capture of Jinding and Jiajin to be taken to the execution ground. In a moment of crisis, Lei Shang managed to obtain an imperial decree, allowing the lovers to finally enjoy a happy union.
