The One Eyebrow Daoist (played by Lam Ching-Ying) is highly skilled in Maoshan Taoism and lives in a small town with his disciple Ah Hao (played by Chien Hsiu-Hao). He has a small Qing Dynasty zombie that often helps him and Ah Hao with their tasks. One day, the One Eyebrow Daoist is invited to the neighboring town to exorcise ghosts due to the outbreak of a plague, which has resulted in the occasional appearance of zombies. He sets off with Ah Hao and the small zombie. They encounter a group of nuns in the neighboring town, where Ah Hao creates a lot of humorous situations. The One Eyebrow Daoist discovers that the town's water source has been polluted by corpse poison and is undrinkable, so he and Ah Hao begin searching for another water source. In the basement of a church, he finds traces of zombies, realizing that a Western zombie was originally kept there, which had been accidentally revived by the head of the local government office. A fantastic showdown of Chinese magic against the Western zombie ensues.
