The mysterious African nation of Wakanda has become a highly advanced technological country thanks to the vibranium that comes from outer space. However, they have long remained closed off, keeping this secret from the outside world. After the former king died in a bombing attack by the United Nations, Prince T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) succeeded him as the new king, and he is also the heir to the Black Panther. After ascending to the throne, T'Challa, along with his ex-girlfriend Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) and his bodyguard Okoye (Danai Gurira), tracks down Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis), who once stole vibranium and killed Wakandans.
