The child Ivy, possessing both werewolf and vampire bloodlines, becomes the target of both clans vying for her. To protect her daughter's safety, mother Selene (Kate Beckinsale) must live in hiding with Ivy. The violent and ruthless Marius (Tobias Menzies) becomes the new leader of the werewolves, and shortly after taking office, he sends his henchmen to launch a frenzied assault on the vampires, with multiple vampire bases being captured by the werewolves, leaving the situation perilous.
