This is a film set against the backdrop of the Pacific War during World War II. The language of the wind, in war, refers to the radio waves carrying countless secrets. Each windtalker bears high-level military secrets. Ben Yahzee (played by Adam Beach) is such a windtalker. Marine Joe Enders (played by Nicolas Cage) is ordered to protect Ben Yahzee and the secrets within the radio waves.
