Song Dawei and his partner Tang Rong are both members of the "Thunder Team." During a capture operation, Dawei engages in a series of life-and-death battles with criminal genius Yuan An. Dawei breaks Yuan An's arm, but after a series of explosions, Yuan An goes missing, while Dawei is severely injured and falls into a vegetative state. Seven years later, Song Dawei awakens to find that everything has changed—his environment and the people around him. His partner Tang Rong is married and now the head of the "Thunder Team."
