In the 1970s, a team consisting of scientists, explorers, war photographers, and soldiers ventured to the mysterious island of Skull Island in the South Pacific. Their arrival disturbed the island's deity—the largest Kong in history. After a fierce battle, the expedition members scattered across the island.
