In the 1930s, Korea was occupied, and various domestic forces were intermingled in chaos. The Jongno district in Seoul was regarded as the heart of the city, where the struggle between the Japanese and Korean gangs was the fiercest. On the Korean gang side, Go Hee-kyung of the Jongno business district controlled the territory of Yuhsing Street (similar to Japan's bustling streets) and was seen as the overlord of the Korean gang. He shared control of the Jongno business area with Yeon Dong-wook and Kim Doo-han, nicknamed "Ban-in" (played by Park Sang-min). Growing up in an orphanage, Kim Doo-han is the son of the famous Korean anti-Japanese hero, Kim Jo-jin. This identity, along with his fearless nature, gradually made him a figure followed by many... The first part of the "The General's Son Trilogy," directed by the Korean national treasure director Im Kwon-taek, is adapted from real historical figures.
