International lawyer Du Qiu (played by Zhang Hanyu) wakes up one morning to find a strange woman murdered beside him. When all evidence points to him as the killer, he refuses to be arrested and decides to uncover the truth himself. The well-known detective Yatsumura (played by Masaharu Fukuyama), during the pursuit, realizes that the case is not simple. During their confrontation, an unexpected camaraderie develops between the officer and the "criminal."
