Today, according to foreign media reports, popular young actor Scott Eastwood, who starred in "The Longest Ride," is set to star in a new action film titled "Overdrive." The film will be produced by Pierre Morel, the director of "Taken," and will be seeking buyers at the Toronto International Film Festival. "Overdrive" focuses on two brother car thieves who travel to the south of France looking for new opportunities to pull off a big score, only to get caught up in a local crime lord's turmoil. It is reported that Jim Caviezel will also join the cast, with "Transit" director José Antonio Negret at the helm; the screenplay is penned by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, the writers of "Wanted" and "Duel at Sundown," who also serve as some of the producers.
