The story takes place in a quiet small town called Ainis, where Wesley (played by Steven Seagal) was once a government-recommended immunologist, but now, he is just an inconspicuous middle-aged man living in seclusion in the town. The arrival of a group of terrorists led by Chisan (played by Gailard Sartain) disrupts the peaceful daily life of the town, and at the same time, a mysterious virus that has never been discovered is spreading among the residents, marking the end of Wesley's "retirement life." To combat the virus, Wesley dedicates himself to researching a vaccine, but the number of infected and deceased is rapidly increasing, and the virus is spreading faster than ever.
