The musically gifted boy Yuxiang (played by Huang Yuxiang) is an excellent pianist but is blind by birth. He insists on not participating in any competitions and only hopes to live a life like a normal person. When he leaves home for the first time to study in the north, he meets Xiaojie (played by Zhang Rongrong), a girl who loves to dance but has been forced to give up her dream for various reasons. Yuxiang can "see" the beauty in the world that others do not notice and has never given up on it. He is like a warm ray of backlight shining into Xiaojie's cold heart, while Xiaojie leads Yuxiang to experience adventures he has never attempted before. The female lead is played by double award-winning actress Zhang Rongrong from the Taipei Film Festival and Asia-Pacific Film Festival. The two continue their excellent chemistry from their previous work, portraying a journey of friends encouraging each other and bravely pursuing their dreams. Director Zhang Rongji won the Best New Director award at the 49th Golden Horse Awards in 2012, the female lead Zhang Rongrong was nominated for Best Actress at the same awards, and the male lead Huang Yuxiang was nominated for Best New Actor at the 7th Asian Film Awards in 2013.
