Ben (played by Josh Lucas), Kyra (played by Jessica Biel), and Henry (played by Jamie Foxx) are all top-notch pilots. One day, they receive a secret mission: to train their new partner "Iron Egg." Unexpectedly, "Iron Egg" turns out to be an all-intelligent unmanned aircraft, and their task is to train it to become a sharp weapon. After completing a flight mission, "Iron Egg" is struck by lightning, which endows it with emotions and autonomy. During the subsequent mission, after considering the situation, headquarters decides to abandon the mission. However, "Iron Egg" suddenly flies away from the formation and drops a bunker-buster bomb into the enemy's nuclear weapons facility, causing an unprecedented nuclear disaster. Ben, the captain, realizes that such an intelligent killing machine must be destroyed immediately, or it will bring more disasters to humanity. He promptly reports to headquarters. The clever "Iron Egg" learns of their plans, leading to a man-machine chase!
