Yu Xiaobao (played by Anthony Wong) possesses exceptional martial arts skills, but as he ages, he struggles with his strength. He runs an old-fashioned iron-clad medical practice. His wife passed away early, leaving him to take on the maternal role in caring for his son Nicky (played by Francis Ng) and daughter Natalie (played by Gillian Chung). However, the family often lacks harmony, as the siblings frequently argue, and the children are tired of their father's constant stories of his past heroism. Nicky has a crush on his sister’s good friend, Ella (played by Charlene Choi), and Natalie’s boyfriend, Jason (played by Daniel Wu), is a musician. Rocco (played by Daniel Wu) kidnaps Yu Xiaobao, demanding he reveals the whereabouts of Dai Zilong, who harmed Rocco and left him paralyzed. The siblings must come together to rescue their father. It is during this ordeal that they discover the true identities of their father, Jason, and Dai Zilong, leaving them astonished.
