Chris Farraday (Mark Wahlberg) was once an unstoppable smuggling expert, but now he has turned over a new leaf, living a reclusive life with his wife, Kate (Kate Beckinsale), and their two sons. Until one day, Kate's brother Andy messes up a drug deal, and the ruthless boss, Tim Briggs (Giovanni Ribisi), threatens to make them pay a painful price. To help Andy pay off his debts, Chris has no choice but to return to the game, gathering his old partners Sebastian Abney (Ben Foster) and Danny Raymer (Lucas Haas) to decide to smuggle counterfeit money to Panama.
