Chris Farraday (Mark Wahlberg) was once an unstoppable smuggling expert, but now he has turned over a new leaf, living a reclusive life with his wife, Kate (Kate Beckinsale), and their two sons. Until one day, Kate's brother Andy messes up a drug deal, and the ruthless boss, Tim Briggs (Giovanni Ribisi), threatens to make them pay a painful price. To help Andy pay off his debts, Chris has no choice but to return to the game, gathering his old partners Sebastian Abney (Ben Foster) and Danny Raymer (Lucas Haas) to decide to smuggle counterfeit money to Panama. On the way, they unfortunately encounter Chris's father's nemesis, the Captain (J.K. Simmons), who has taken benefits from the boss to monitor Chris's task. Meanwhile, at home, Kate and the children are also threatened by assassins, and even face Abney's provocation. Faced with changing plans, the boss’s pressure, police tracking, and the safety of his wife and children, can Chris summon all his skills to ultimately save the situation? This film is a remake of the 2008 Icelandic crime film "Reykjavik-Rotterdam."
