Diana (Gal Gadot) is the daughter of Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) and has lived on Paradise Island since childhood. A massive barrier separates this island from the outside world's turmoil, making it a utopia inhabited solely by women. Under the guidance of General Antiope (Robin Wright), Diana learns powerful combat skills, and within her seems to lie a potent unknown force.
